It has a wide range of things available for everyone so whatever someones interest there is more than likely going to be something available for that person to buy on eBay. It is also so successful because you can get brand named things for a lot cheaper than you would if you bought them in the shops. And because there are so many people invoilved on eBay, if you are selling somehting, you can get a good price for it if there are a lot of people interested and offering high bids.
